Found Photos That Capture Street Scenes of London From the 1890s _ UK Time Capsule

   

A photo collection was found by robert bonnin that captured street scenes of London from between the 1890s and 1900s.

Trafalgar Square (London) with the National Gallery to the left and St Martins in the Fields to the right

 

Two women are about to cross The Mall onto Horse Guards Parade. The building to the right now house the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA)

 

Vauxhall is an area of London just south of the Thames

 

Albert Memorial in London with the Royal Albert Hall in the background

The corner of Parliament Square from a stretch of road called Broad Sanctuary. Broad Sacntuary eventually becomes Victoria Street. Westminster Abbey is out of shot just to the photographer's right

This is probably the river Thames (there was a naval college on the Thames maybe that's it)
